Non-Hazardous Waste Management

In addition to hazardous waste services, UAB Natureka provides comprehensive non-hazardous waste management solutions. We handle various types of industrial, commercial, packaging, construction, and household waste that is not classified as hazardous but must still be managed in accordance with environmental regulations. Our goal is to reduce the volume of waste sent to landfills and ensure the highest possible level of material recovery and recycling.
The process begins with an analysis of the client’s waste streams. We assess what types of non-hazardous waste are generated (plastic, paper, cardboard, metal, wood, glass, packaging materials, production residues, etc.), in what quantities, and how they are currently managed. Based on this assessment, we propose an efficient waste sorting and collection system tailored to the client’s operational specifics, utilizing our own and our partners’ capabilities.
The collected non-hazardous waste is transported to UAB Natureka’s waste management facility, where it is further sorted according to its composition and properties. Plastic, paper, cardboard, glass, and metal waste is prepared for reuse and recycling, while non-recyclable but energy-rich materials can be used as alternative fuel. This reduces landfill volumes and contributes to achieving circular economy objectives.
We offer each client a flexible non-hazardous waste management model: from one-time waste removal to continuous waste collection under long-term service agreements. We manage non-hazardous waste generated in industrial, commercial, logistics, and public-sector facilities as well as households in Kaunas, the Kaunas region, and throughout Lithuania. Our non-hazardous waste management services help optimize waste management costs, maintain order at client sites, and strengthen the company’s image as a responsible and environmentally conscious organization.
